Experimenting with Ink Drawings on acetate, Analog Photography, and Silver Gelatin Processees
Fall 2025
This series was made during my photography class I took in Fall 2025, where I begin experimenting with ink drawing and darkroom processes.
The processes goes as follows:
1. The idea started as I played with a series of ink drawing on tracing paper. I then started to draw with ink on acetate.
2. I placed the ink drawings on acetate on the silver-gelatin paper during the enlargement process in the dark room.
3. After developing the silver gelatin photo I scanned them with the collage of gouache on tracing paper.
4. I then printed the scanned photo on matte inkjet paper, giving it a drawing and print texture.
The works seen here are scans of the silver gelatin print and paper collage.
